木村優一 & スペシャルソース

「音楽に国境はない」を合言葉に、和太鼓奏者の木村優一がプロデュースする、
和太鼓とジャズ、ラテンを組み合わせた特別編成のユニット。
ピアノ、ラテンパーカッション、管弦楽器を中心とした楽器で構成されている。
和太鼓の重低音とビート、その上に織りなすメロディーラインは多くの音楽ファンを魅了しており、
ジャズやラテンのスタンダードナンバーはもとより、
オリジナル曲は和太鼓フュージョンとして新しい世界を切り拓いている。
2012年にCDアルバム「空翔る翼」、 2014年にDVD「情熱ライブ」、
2015年にCDアルバム「ひこばえに咲く」をリリース。

　　Taking the motto, “Music has no borders,” this group is a special collaboration unit for the fusion of taiko, jazz, and Latin genres. Produced by Mr. Kimura, it features piano, Latin percussion, wind and string instruments. Its signature weaving of the low frequency of taiko with higher melodic lines has mesmerized many an audience. Originally taking on jazz and Latin standards, the group has since expanded its repertoire to include original compositions, which are trailblazing works in a new world of taiko fusion.

　　Album releases include “A Wing in the Sky” in 2012 and “From a Stump New Life Blooms” in 2015, as well as the 2014 live performance DVD, “Live Passion.”
